David Beshk is an award-winning educator and developer of many powerful and impactful programs in STEM and other areas such as 3D printing and international collaboration of students. He is the lead educator in development of the Med Tac After School and Summer School program and a key advisor regarding design of child appropriate training of lifeline behaviors for high impact care hazards. He has led, taught, and refined multiple school programs and was responsible for the first life saved through Med Tac before the first class graduated. He is a 2018 Pete Conrad Global Patient Safety Award winner for his role in developing the program for educators, schools, and scout groups. He has mentored the group of junior assistant Med Tac instructors from the ranks of middle and upper schools. 

Mr. Beshk has successfully completed the American College of Surgeon’s Stop the Bleed Instructor’s course and has taught the program with Dr. Denham to multiple grade school classes. He has completed the American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR/AED Instructor Certification program and is developing immersive simulation exercises that schools can use to address specific life-threatening scenarios.  He is an Eagle Scout and serves as an advisor to the Eagle Scout Mentorship Network. He is a 5th grade science teacher and has been the Dean of Lower Students at a leading private school in Southern California. Mr. Beshk will lead the development of the curriculum and train the trainer program for educators.
