David M. Morris, PH.D., J.D., has both a Ph.D. in Psychology and a Juris Doctorate.  He is board certified Forensic Psychologist, licensed Industrial Organizational Psychologist and an attorney with training at the World Court at The Hague in international law.  His firm, Morris & McDaniel, has worked with the U.S. State Department and the U.S. Department of Defense in establishing early screening programs to increase the effectiveness of vetting candidates seeking law enforcement and security positions as well as general workforce jobs.  He developed and implemented the programs used to select entry level candidates in Iraq for four years.  He spent three years on the ground in Iraq in order to assure the effectiveness of the program.  The program was translated into multiple languages and proved to be effective in addressing the issues facing the country.  Morris & McDaniel is considered to be the premier firm for addressing the human element in security and in creating improved personnel selection in all jobs.  Dr. Morris has advised and established hiring and promotional programs for some of the largest Police Departments in the U.S.  Dr. Morris’ work in this area has spanned over thirty years and includes work in the following industries:  Oil and Gas, Hospitality, Financial, Transportations, Healthcare, Government Security, and Police Services.  His research and real world experience clearly shows that strategically designed screening procedures can quickly, effectively and inexpensively screen candidates for security positions and for non-secure positions alike at an early stage before more extensive investments are made by the employer in the candidate.
