Jahnavi Rao is a junior at Harvard College pursuing a major in Government and a minor in Environmental Science and Public Policy. As President and Founder of New Voters, a national, student-run 501(c)3, she manages a team of 40+ college and high school directors and interns and registered 50,000 high school students to vote for the 2020 election across 40 states. She has done extensive research on public opinion and survey design at the University of Pennsylvania’s Institute for the Study of Citizens and Politics. She has also served as Deputy Campaign Manager on a state legislative race, Director of High School Engagement at the Harvard Votes Challenge, and Co-President of the South Asian Women’s Collective.
